Download Workplace Chat mobile app
The Workplace Chat mobile app lets you chat with your coworkers on your mobile phone or tablet. It’s an alternative to chatting with coworkers either on Workplace in a desktop browser, or on the Workplace Chat desktop app.
You can download and use the Workplace Chat mobile app on iOS and Android devices. To find the Workplace Chat app, open the app store on your device and then search for Workplace Chat from Meta.
Workplace Chat mobile app features
The Workplace Chat mobile app lets you:
- Send messages to individual colleagues, or have group conversations
- Share unlimited files, photos and videos
- Make voice and video calls
- Turn on Do not disturb when you’re busy or away from work
Logging into the Workplace Chat mobile app
When you have downloaded the Workplace Chat mobile app, you will need to log in to use it. To do this, open the Workplace Chat app and tap Log in. You will need to enter your email address or your mobile phone number or username. A login code may then be sent to you by email.
If you normally log into Workplace with a password, you will also need to enter your password. If you log in using SSO, you should be able to log in using these details.
